General structure
The event runs over three intensive days at ULB, Building U:
- Hours: 9:00–12:00 and 14:00–18:00
- 5 main parallel tracks in the large lecture halls
- 10–15 simultaneous peripheral workshops in adjacent rooms
- 2-hour lunch breaks to encourage networking
The five thematic tracks
Track 1 · Public policy and strategy
Panel discussions with decision-makers, analysis of legal frameworks, digital sovereignty issues, large-scale deployment strategies.
Track 2 · Pedagogy and classroom practice
Teacher testimonials, demonstrations of free tools (GeoGebra, Python, NumWorks), curriculum integration, learning assessment.
Track 3 · Administration and technical deployment
IT infrastructure for institutions, migration to free software, maintenance and support, computer fleet management, security and data protection.
Track 4 · Innovation and research
Free EdTech, artificial intelligence in education, digital pedagogy research, emerging trends and futures.
Track 5 · Economics and entrepreneurship
Business models for free educational software, innovative startups and SMEs, public-private partnerships, funding and economic sustainability.
Cross-cutting track · Art, creation, music, poetry
Arts in all forms — creations, music, texts, drawings. Any activity worth sharing and accompanying, that deserves an audience, is welcome.
